Polearm

Polearms are weapons like halberds and glaives that consist of a weapon mounted on a sturdy wooden shaft. Polearms are always weapons with the Fight In Ranks special rule. Polearms may cause Death Blows either on a target directly to either side of the Monster slain, or directly behind (as a Thrusting Weapon). Once chosen, the Death Blow must continue in this direction, you may not elect to mix thrusting and lateral death blows in one attack.
