The Orcs & Goblins in Warhammer Quest

It was primarily the Orc races that drove the Dwarfs from their ancient homes, turning the once proud cities into the dank, death-filled lairs they have since become. Orcs, Goblins, and their smaller cousins Snotlings, and are all, to coin a human term, greenskins. They are ferocious raiders and relentless warriors, and their constant attacks threaten to engulf the human lands of the Old World. All Orcs live to wage war, and it is this that makes them so dangerous. Yet this love of combat is also their greatest weakness, as it means they expend much of their energy fighting each other. Goblins are smarter than Orcs but nowhere near as warlike. They are cunning rather than strong, and rely a great deal on their Orc
cousins when it comes to the serious business of fighting.

More Information about Warhammer Quest Orcs & Goblins

The Orcs and Goblins in Warhammer Quest were given their own expansion pack, Lair of the Orc Lord, which came with new miniatures, rules for new Monsters and Monster Magic Items, treasures and board sections. Just like Warhammer Quest, Lair of the Orc Lord is long out of production but if you are lucky you can find a second-hand copy on eBay or other auction sites.

Lair of the Orc Lord is packed full of Orcy background, but other good sources include the Warhammer Armies: Orcs & Goblins, published by Games Workshop and distributed by lots of retailers online. The Games Workshop Website also has a corner dedicated to Orcs and Goblins in the Warhammer section. Websites devoted to Warhammer Online, an online role-play game published by Mythic, also contain lots of artwork and background material for the races involved.
